2015 has already been a big year for Union Street Media. As a team, we consciously embarked on a shift in our mission: in addition to creating a better platform for our clients, we’ve also decided to provide stronger digital advertising and lead generation options to complement our software.
As part of that plan, we welcomed Rachel Rothenburg – our new Vice President of Operations – to our team.
Rachel graduated from Boston University in 2007 with a degree in Communications and Advertising. Before arriving at Union Street Media, she worked for several years in the digital arena – including a stint as the Director of Advertising for MyWebGrocer. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the NorthCountry Federal Credit Union.
Rachel has extensive experience in leading strategic initiatives to generate new revenue, increase profitability, manage omni-channel advertising campaigns, and support industry-leading product development. Her unique specialties lie in marketing and advertising, digital operations, advertising sales, branding and identity, account management, analytics, and strategic planning.
In her words: “Professionally, I knew digital advertising was where I wanted to be early on; however, I chanced upon SaaS, operations, marketing automation, and analytics. The fast pace, infinite opportunities, daily problem-solving challenges, and amazing people in this industry are what fuel my passion for it.”
Rachel grew up right here in Huntington, Vermont at the foot of Camel’s Hump. She loves hiking and even attempted hiking the Long Trail from end to end on a badly sprained ankle. She enjoys reading, traveling, skiing, and exploring the Vermont restaurant scene.
