Spencer-Hughes is an office of almost 20 agents that is based in southern New Hampshire. The company does business across two offices in Wolfeboro, NH and Alton Bay, NH. The company began in 1988 when Bob Hughes moved to Wolfeboro and decided to take on a real estate career. The company is affiliated with Prudential Real Estate, and it has always had a successful web presence and real estate website. So, as they say in New Hampshire, “Why fix it if it ain’t broke?” Answer: because people and search engines like change. Fresh content is manna for search engines; a brand new look is a sight for sore eyes.
A long time client of Union Street Media, Spencer-Hughes approached our team again in 2013 to give their website a facelift. Spencer-Hughes wanted a website that represented Prudential’s long-standing reputation for customer-focused, trustworthy service.
We identified four overarching goals for Spencer-Hughes’ new site and future business:
- Promote online brand of prestige and customer-centric service
- Increase Spencer-Hughes’ placement in local search engine results pages
- Expand Spencer-Hughes’ web presence and online authority
- Develop new search tools that will increase traffic and lead generation
